With schools possibly requiring face masks, it is a good idea to get your child comfortable with wearing a mask and used to the guidelines for not constantly touching the mask. Their stuffed friends can help with this transition!

How to Sew a Face Mask for Dolls and Softies
I would recommend using ties for the toy face mask if your child will be taking it off and switching it with other animals or dolls. However, if you are making a mask for a specific favorite toy (or a range of similar sized toys), elastic would probably be easier for the child to manuever on their own.
