There have been a lot of questions about what the community can do to help Holy Cross Hospital prepare during these uncertain times. We are wisely using and carefully monitoring the personal protective equipment (PPE) we have in stock. Though there are cases in Taos County, at this time we have not admitted any patients with COVID-19, and we have a healthy and well managed inventory of PPE. In an effort to stay ahead of the curve and be prepared, we are happily accepting donations of masks, washable gowns, gloves, and other protective equipment.
If have access to a sewing machine, we are encouraging community members to make masks following the instructions of the following video.
You will also need the following mask pattern:
If you have items you are interested in donating, please contact Sue Romansky at (575) 751-5812 or email SRomansky@TaosHospital.org. Sue Romansky is the Vice President of Quality at Holy Cross Medical Center.
