Rather than overspending, why not try your hand at making these simple but effective face masks using products you can find in your own house.
Beauty Dictionary: Emollient
Can be described as a moisturizer. Emollients help keep the skin moist and supple by reducing water loss from the outer layer of your skin.
The Tumeric Trick
Best to treat redness and inflammation as it evens out the skin tone. Also, perfect for older sin as turmeric is said to diminish wrinkles!
Ingredients
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl with a clean spatula. Apply the paste to your face and leave it for 30 minutes. Wash off to reveal a glowing complexion.
Milk & Honey
Perfect for dry or flaky skin as honey is a natural emollient that hydrates and moisturizes!
Ingredients
Warm the milk slightly and mix it with the honey. Apply this mixture on the face with a cotton ball while it is still warm. Now, let it get soaked into your skin for at least 10 minutes. You can leave it on for about 20 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water first and then cold water.
Olive & Honey
Best for sensitive skin that combats dryness and clears imperfections caused by toxins.
Ingredients
Add ingredients in a bowl and stir well. Cleanse face and pat dry but leave face slightly damp the apply to paste onto face and neck. Let it sit for 10-15minutes, rinse off with lukewarm water and pat dry.
